TTEP has a total installed capacity of approximately 5.2 GW, thanks to five gas-fired plants and one coal-fired plant. All plants are managed according to the highest environmental, safety and reliability standards. .
In addition, it dispatches three power plants, owned by EPH, using solid biomass, renewable and programmable energy. The Fusine Energia (6 MW), Biomasse Crotone (28 MW) and Biomasse Italia (46 MW) Power Plants are part of the company EP New Energy Italia (EPNEI), which in turn is controlled by EP Power Europe (EPPE).
EP Produzione plays a key role in ensuring energy security as a producer of electricity from programmable sources. Its power plants contribute to meeting electricity demand and support the integration of renewable energy by providing stability during periods when wind, solar, or water resources are not available.
In 2024 the commissioning process of Tavazzano e Montanaso new unit was undertaken, while work for the new combined cycle unit at the Ostiglia Power Plant continues.
Both plants are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that ensure an efficiency rate above 62% and represent a key milestone in the decarbonization pathway, in line with the targets of the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP).
