Effective May 1, EP Produzione and its subsidiaries joined TTEP, a new company jointly established by EPH and TotalEnergies, marking the completion of the strategic 50/50 partnership announced in November 2025.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, TTEP integrates the flexible generation and energy storage operations of both companies into a single platform, bringing together a portfolio of nearly 30 sites across Europe, consisting primarily of combined-cycle and open-cycle gas-fired power plants, biomass plants, and battery energy storage systems.
Facilities are located in Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, and France, and represent approximately 14 GW of installed or under-construction capacity. In 2025, the portfolio generated nearly 30 TWh of electricity. TTEP is also actively involved in the energy supply sector in the Netherlands and Italy and operates a gas storage facility in the United Kingdom.
TTEP is Europe’s second-largest player in the flexible power generation segment, with the goal of strengthening energy security and supporting the energy transition.
The rebranding will be implemented in phases and will be completed in the coming months.

With the establishment of TTEP, EP Produzione, including its subsidiaries, is now consolidated under TTEP as a new holding company. This change affects ownership and governance at the group level. The creation of TTEP does not entail any changes to EP Produzione’s day-to-day operations. Existing roles, responsibilities, working conditions, and operational activities in Italy remain unchanged.
Over the coming months, we will gradually transition to TTEP, our new group name and brand identity, reflecting our evolution toward a stronger European energy platform.
